Nicky was my alcohol specialist nurse. She provided a superb service. Provided great information about the detox and helpful documentation. Thoroughly professional. Nicky pit me at ease and I felt totally supported. I met with two other nurses who also were professional and supportive.
A superb service.
After receiving private care by a surgeon here I was seriously ill and nearly died after spending 10.000 pound on the surgery I was not approved for private after care so stayed here 10 days . Care was OK but staff didn't understand my treatment or after care I needed I felt robbed and damaged its been a year and I'm suffering ptsd thank to Mr carter
staff try to give the best care considering the restrictions they have
The care I received at Queen Alexandra Hospital was excellent from the Theatre Admissions staff, Theatre staff, Recovery staff and Ward staff.
I was treated with the upmost care and dignity and everything was explained fully in regard to my surgery and treatment.
I highly recommend the hospital.
Dr Patel was thorough, kind and listened to the issues with my mother’s failing eyesight. Whilst apologetic for the distressing wait and chasing up we’ve had to do she actually took time to try to rectify this in future.
I think everyone worked hard to ensure we were well taken care of. I know it's not easy with how busy it gets in there so I really appreciate it.
The nurses were all wonderful and so helpful, I'd like to give a particular comment about Helen who was in charge of the ward while we were the overnight. She was amazing, so sweet and attentive. Really tried to make sure we were comfortable and kept me informed of what was going on. Thank you so much.
I had an p in November 2023 and several phone call since. The staff are lovely caring with a smile.
This hospital beat any other I have been to for attitude and the NHS should learn from this.
Sussex University Hospitals are exactly the opposite.
Thankyou
I cannot fault the hospital or staff in any way. They are obviously under immense pressure but it has never shown in any of the appointments I have attended. They deserve so much more than they get.
I am a 16 year old who had to stay on D3. The staff were absolutely lovely - very caring and patient. Particularly Katie Willsher, Mark Hutchinson and Abi, a military nurse (rank - corporal).
Very clean and nice hospital to attend, staff very helpful and all round good experience
